As I have probably mentioned in the past I am an advocate of WordPress and good WordPress Design. If you are not familiar with WordPress you can read my recent article “Just what is WordPress?” So why am I such a big fan and what is all of the hype about? Well for starters, I use WP on a daily basis to both blog and maintain the majority of my own websites. Secondly, I use it on a near daily basis to design and development a wide range of web applications for clients both at my part time job as well as in my freelance career. Here at Waukesha Web Designer I will always attempt to cover the basics first and since you will find me talking about WordPress quite a bit I figured that I may as well get that one out of the way immediately. So on to the question, what is WordPress? IFrom the WordPress website it is defined as:
WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
